Two new scenes from The Bug Opera are coming to the Boston area in March and May!

On Sunday, March 19th at 2:00 pm, Indian Hill Music in Littleton, MA will host a workshop performance of scene two from The Bug Opera. Join Caterpillar and Mosquito as they set out on a grand adventure.

Come meet the prickly know-it-all Paper Wasp and the rotund, jovial Dung Beetle.We've assembled a superb cast under the stage direction of Susan Finque. Mosquito will be sung by Jennifer Ashe; Caterpillar by Nik Nackley; Dung Beetle by Graham Wright; and Paper Wasp by Matt DiBattista.

The Bug Opera is intended for audience members 8 years and up. The workshop performance will also include a discussion, offering the audience an opportunity to share their thoughts on the show with the cast and creators. Please note these other upcoming Bug Opera dates: Saturday, May 20th 2:00 pm Workshop #3 at Indian Hill Music. Fri-Sat-Sun, November 17-19 First FULL PERFORMANCES of The Bug Opera at Indian Hill Music (with chamber orchestra) Indian Hill Music is located at 36 King Street in Littleton, MA on Routes 2A & 110. From Route 495, take exit 30. Turn left and go 0.6 miles to Indian Hill Music on the right (just past Littleton High School).

Geoffrey Hudson and Alisa Pearson have started the non-profit Hybrid Vigor Music to support new music projects that go beyond the concert hall to actively engage communities. HVM promotes on-going projects, such as further performances of the Bug Opera, and new projects, such as composer Geoffrey Hudson's Quartet Project, a six-volume set of graduated string quartets for string players of all ages and abilities.
